I was desperate for money and fell for the scam. I received a letter and a Cashshiers check for $2,970.00 in the mail regarding becoming a paid Mystery Shopper. I was to receive $350.00 for the assignment which I withdrew from my account. On 12/15 the check was not accepted, therefore $2,970.00 was taken from my account with me out $350.00.
Spoke with them on several occasions and they assured me that they were sending me a $500 check, which never happened. Now I just get recordings which I have left about 20 messages which have never been returned.
Update: 01/11/2012
I do have the letter that I received and also my bank statement - can I submit them by fax.
