Below is a copy of the report I submitted to our Office of Attorney General here in West Virginia.

On November 20, 2011 I placed an order for a 7” Android tablet with WIFI and camera from eglobalelectronics.com. The product was received within a few weeks and was placed away for a Christmas present. The tablet was opened on Christmas morning and was operational, however, appeared as if it could have been “used”. On December 26th, the tablet quit working. I have placed NUMEROUS calls/messages to eglobal electronics at 877-345-6225 daily since December 26th. The customer is consistently placed on hold for approximately 10 minutes and then a voice mail prompts for a message, which I have done each time I have called. After several days of not receiving a verbal response, I researched their site and found a “help desk”, in which I entered two help tickets explaining the problem. To date, there have been no responses to either of those requests. On Thursday, January 5, 2012, I left another voicemail indicating that a response was required by Friday, January 6th, or I would have no option other than to contact the Better Business Bureau or Attorney General’s Office. As of today, still no response. Today, January 11, 2012, I made one additional attempt to contact them at the number above. Same 10 minute hold and left an additional voicemail.

Today, I performed an internet search of the company and to my surprise, there are MANY complaints of similar situations (also all since the Christmas holiday) on a website called ripoffreport.com.

At this point, I feel that I have no other option than to report the company. Due to the nature of their reputation and lack of customer support, I would prefer not to have a replacement (customer is responsible for return shipping and 25% restocking fee anyway), but rather a reimbursement for the total purchase of $84.98.

Although, they are difficult to read (sorry, it’s the largest I can get them from their website), I have attached copies of my account, order history and help desk tickets. I would certainly be able to get you account login information if needed.
