TODAY'S DATE IS JAN. 4, 2012. THE LETTER BELOW WAS WRITTEN TO METROSTYLE'S CEO ON DECEMBER 5, 2011. I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE. THIS DEBACLE IS NOW 3 MONTHS OLD AND STILL NO REFUND. THEY IGNORE MY E-MAILS, I CANNOT GET THRU ON THE PHONE, THEY HAVE NEVER GIVEN ME MY CREDIT, YET THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CONTINUE SENDING ME E-MAILS WANTING ME TO BUY STUFF FROM THEM. DON’T!!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!

As unbelievable as it may seem, below is a history of the battle I have been fighting for the past two (2) months with Metrostyle. To say that Metrostyle’s behavior is unprofessional, unethical, disrespectful, and downright pathetic is an understatement. I have been trying to contact your company for 2 months because when I received the order in question, I found the need to return one of the items, and a return label was not attached to my invoice as it usually is. I had undergone 2 different surgeries just days before I placed the order, and to have to leave the house and go to the Post Office and buy postage and mail this package back to you was not only an extreme inconvenience but was also dangerous to my health at that time. I have actually sent approximately five (5) personal e-mails from my own e-mail account, I have sent approximately six (6) messages [including the one I sent today] through your website, and I have called so many times I can’t count. One particular day, I actually called the order line since customer service never answers but just leaves you on hold, and when that lady, who was very nice but hesitantly told me that the website and the organization were being revamped and that other customers were also complaining but that she would try to help me and asked me to hold for a while so she could get me through to customer service, I readily agreed. However, after holding on for 1 hour and 5 minutes, I HUNG UP! I’ve tried to get through several times since, and all I get is that stupid recording telling me that call volume is high and I will have to wait.

I WANT A REFUND FOR THE PANTSUIT I RETURNED TO YOU IN NOVEMBER , 2011, FROM THE INDEPENDENCE, LOUISIANA POST OFFICE. THE REFUND SHOULD BE IN THE AMOUNT OF $33.99 BECAUSE I PAID THE RETURN POSTAGE MYSELF, SO
NOTHING SHOLD BE DEDUCTED FROM THAT AMOUNT.

If you have any interest at all in your job and your company, you really need to read the history below because the way I have been “jerked around” is totally inexcusable.

I would appreciate, and will expect, your full and prompt cooperation and assistance in this matter.

This is completely unbelievable, but here it is almost 2 months later, after 5 personal e-mails to you, 5 messages sent thru this website, numerous telephone calls which I made and never got to talk to anybody, and this matter has still not been resolved. As you can see from all the voluminous correspondence below, I WOUND UP SENDING THAT PACKAGE BACK TO YOU AT MY OWN EXPENSE. AGAIN, UNBELIEVABLY, I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED A CREDIT ON MY CREDIT CARD DESPITE THE FACT THAT I RETURNED IT ALMOST A MONTH AGO. I have called, and called, and called, and can't get anybody on the damned phone either! This is extremely unprofessional, unethical, and you should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. WHEN AM I GOING TO GET MY REFUND????????????

CANCEL ALL MY PREVIOUS E-MAILS REQUESTING A RETURN LABEL OR THAT YOU CONTACT ME BECAUSE I NO LONGER WANT OR NEED A RETURN LABEL. I HAD SOMEONE DRIVE ME TO THE POST OFFICE YESTERDAY BECAUSE I STILL CANNOT DRIVE DUE TO THE SURGERY, AND I SENT THE PACKAGE BACK TO YOU AT MY OWN EXPENSE. MAKE SURE THAT YOU REFUND TO ME THE ENTIRE COST OF THE MERCHANDISE WITHOUT DEDUCTING ANYTHING FOR POSTAGE SINCE I PAID FOR THE RETURN POSTAGE MYSELF. I DON'T WANT ANY FURTHER DEALINGS WITH YOU. YOUR COMPANY AND ITS SERVICE ARE PATHETIC, AND YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.

IT IS NOW 2 DAYS LATER, WHICH MEANS I’VE BEEN HASSLING WITH THIS ISSUE FOR MORE THAN 2 WEEKS NOW. NOBODY ANSWERS MY E-MAILS, AND I CANNOT GET THROUGH ON THE TELEPHONE. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY? I AM
BEGINNING TO BELIEVE THIS WHOLE THING HAS TURNED INTO A SCAM. LERNER’S USED TO GIVE ME THE BEST SERVICE IN THE WORLD, AND BELIEVE ME, I SPENT A LOT OF MONEY WITH THE COMPANY OVER THE YEARS.

ALL I WANT IS A DARNED SELF-ADHESIVE RETURN LABEL TO RETURN YOUR MERCHANDISE WHICH WAS NOT UP TO STANDARDS AND DID NOT FIT. THE LABEL SHOULD HAVE BEEN ATTACHED TO THE INVOICE, BUT IT WAS NOT. JUST PLEASE SEND THE DAMNED LABEL AND I PROMISE, I WON’T ORDER FROM YOU EVER AGAIN.

I FORGOT TO MENTION IN MY PREVIOUS E-MAIL THAT I HAVE ALSO BEEN ON THE PHONE TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR ANY PERSON FOR THE PAST 2 HOURS AND HAVE EITHER BEEN TOLD TO CALL BACK LATER OR TO HOLD ON. THE LAST TIME I HELD ON, I WAS ON HOLD FOR 32 MINUTES! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! WHEN I CALLED LAST WEEK, THE SAME THING HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!

I WOULD APPRECIATE A RESPONSE IMMEDIATELY SINCE I HAVE BEEN PLACED IN LIMBO FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS NOW! RESPOND!!!!!!

As a matter of fact, there is NO kind of label attached of any kind. I always return my merchandise with the self-adhesive label, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could either send me one or send me a return label via e-mail so that I can return this item as soon as possible. I called Metrostyle today and was informed that Customer Service is closed and will not be in operation again until NEXT MONDAY, OCTOBER 31. I was astonished. I have ordered from Lerner's (Metro now) and Chadwick's for years and never found the Customer Service Section closed, and especially not for this long! I would appreciate your assistance with this request. Thanks.”
