I signed up for a $1.00 trial kit with Mineral Elements. When I received it, I tried the makeup, but didn't like it, so I called to cancel any future shipments. They said nothing about returning the kit I had received, and I believed it was only a trial kit, anyway. Then, the following month when I received my credit card statement, I had been charged $130.41, plus $4.85 from a company called "Bluexerx". When I called to find out about the charges they said it was for the kit they had sent to me on November 1, 2011. I am not certain when exactly I received the kit, but sometime within the first 10 days of November, and I am certain that I cancelled, by telephone, within 2 days of receiving the kit. Now they are telling me that I only had 10 days, from the day that they ship, to return the kit for a full refund. When I explained that I didn't know that I had to return it, that I thought I had only received a trial kit, they said it was a 60 day supply, and not a trial. They also said that they had sent me an email on 11/27/2011 to fully explain that they would be charging me for a full kit. I did not receive any such email! And, besides, I said, wouldn't that be past the 10 days to return time frame? They said it didn't matter, and that there 'should' have been a card with the kit stating that I needed to review the full agreement of the trial membership. There was no such card inside or with the kit. I contacted my credit card company for assistance. They state that they cannot help as I do possess the product for with I was charged. I am perfectly willing to return the entire kit to Mineral Elements, however, I believe they will not accept it without a "Return Authorization Number", which they are refusing to give to me. This is a scam of such epic proportions that I cannot fathom the lengths that this company will go to, to get $130 plus from decent, unsuspecting people that work hard for their money. To say that they should be put out of business is laughable. They should be dragged through the streets, naked and horse-whipped. Anything less wouldn't be justice.
