I was called on 12/4/2011 from a lady from Express Platinum Card telling me I had a credit card limit of 5,500.00 available and all I needed to do was put down a $99.00 security fee. Now they had all my bank and ss info already (VERY STRANGE) she stated they would take it out on Dec 9th or any time I would like to have it withdrawn. She asked me when I told her I couldn't do it until Jan 2012 because I am on disability and only get paid once a month. She said she would put it down as Dec 9th 2011 and I just needed to call the # to customer service 1-800-887-2636 to have the date changed. Well I called to cancel this entire card and they only give you an email address at [email protected] and there is no such address. I have called this number alot and all you get is recordings. So I looked up Express Card and it gave me a number of 1-800-888-5529 and they have live people to talk to and they have no ACCOUNT for me set up and didn't have any idea what I was talking about. So now I have no way to cancel this scamming card that somehow has ALL my information....that scares me to death... How can you help me what can I do??
