On 11/9/11 I downloaded an upgrade to Registry Mechanic. After I restarted my computer I noticed all my icons were in a different order. I restarted my computer several times with the same results. I decided to restore my system to a previous date and noticed that there were no entries in system restore. Registry Mechanic took control of my computer and removed all entries from system restore and placed them into Registry Mechanic without my consent. I spoke to two different supervisors with no results. I finally uninstalled Registry Mechanic and wrote to the California office requesting a complete refund and an additional $100 for a computer checkup. I received an email today stating that they will only refund $29.99. No apologies. Very poor customer support. How dare they go into my computer and remove entries! Do not buy Registry Mechanic.
