I signed my contract with Molecular Data Plc on November 17, 2011 to become a payment processor for them. I waited for the checks to be mailed to me. I received them on 11/30/2011, I went directly to my bank to cash them and my bank policies call for them to verify funds on checks written on out of state banks. Once the teller had called the supposed customer's bank, they found that the checks are invalid. The account number on the checks is an invalid account. My bank informed me not to do anything with the checks. So here I sit without any extra cash and a family to support.
