I wrote for Clarity Digital Media LLC (a.k.a. Examiner.com) for several years and the above amount was accrued. Clarity did not pay its writers until they reached an accrued amount of $10 or greater. However, Examiner.com folded on July 10, 2016. Writers were promised they would receive their payments in a timely manner. As of September 6,2016 I have never been paid by Clarity Digital for funds accrued. It appears that they are using what is owed to their writers to cover all of their operational losses, which sounds like a Ponzi type operation. They are still operating AXS, a very spammy website, and should still have monies coming in.
