I wish I would have known about this club Cheerxperience and this owner Sarah Mitchell before I ever set foot inside and trusted her with my child. Hindsight is 20/20 and this has been my biggest wake up call and regret as a mother.

I now know that Sarah Mitchell is ostracized in the cheer world by everyone who knows what she does and what her club is about.

She is an embarrassment to herself and all legitimate clubs, as "she gives cheer a bad name". And that I can agree with now that I know first hand what goes on.

Forget about the overcharging my credit card, never receiving goods payed for, practice wear arriving at the end of the season, uniform not in time for competion and when it did arrive was such a cheap imitation of what we were promised and saw pictures of, it was an embarrassment for our children to be on stage competing against all of the legitimate clubs appropriately dressed. All cost are bundled so one knows why her costs are so much higher than every other club. I can forgive and forget all of the material items and all the overcharges(and I told Sarah that). I also know what has happened to anyone who questions what she is charging.

What is not ok as a parent is the lack of basic safety and training for our children's well being, the bullying tactics the owner and office manager used, the requirement that your child attends practice no matter how sick or contagious, her demands that kids work "through injuries" which anyone in the medical field knows this should not be done. Many kids including mine were afraid to tell their parents what was really going on for fear of the consequences to them. The horrors that have occurred at this club....are too many to list. But here are the top for me:

This last season over 30 injuries occurred in her gym(and contrary to what she claims, that was well over half her gym, I should know, many kids are on 3-4 teams so she appears to have a bigger club than she actually does.)There is no safety training let alone USASF coach training. (She hasn't even been a member, but it's a requirement this year, let's see how she gets out of that).

I see at this sight that in 2012 a mother posted a review based on her experience, that followed a few people posting rebutting this review as not true. In 2013 this same poster removed her review saying she was threatened in writing by Sarah Mitchell to remove it. This is Sarah's way of operating and this is what Sarah Mitchell did this past season in 2015:

After numerous people posted negative reviews in the Feb on YELP, Sarah sent an email to a few "trusted and loved parents" asking them to post positive reviews on YELP and various other sites in an effort to "push down" the negative postings. In return she awarded prizes.

A mother posted on Facebook a "fake Southwest invoice " she received from Sarah when she asked for verified pricing(it was padded)along with the true ticket cost. This same mother also posted other disparaging comments that Sarah had posted online.
Sarah then sent an email threatening the mom to remove the posts or she would send the sheriff out with a cease and desist. She then followed up with filing a false police report claiming this person threatened to kill her.

I know it sounds like a made up movie but unfortunately for the innocent victims it's true. She took it as far as trying to get a restraining order in a court of law. Fortunately for the true victim, the judge saw right through her bs and denied all claims. Sarah may be facing charges against herself and business for filing a false report, and filing false claims, even her lawyer admitted to that in court.

Additionally, she repeatedly lied under oath in another court case against her.

Unfortunately for the public, cheer is an unregulated industry and we have lodged complaints with every legitimate business , health and safety organization and I can only pray that she will be shut down because of what she has done. Fortunately there are also ethical, Usasaf and safety trained clubs out there who truly care for our children and I am grateful to have found that club after this horrible experience.
