WE attended a sales pitch for a "travel club" membership and fell for it. They promised NO vacation for a week over $59. 95 per week and that was just processing fees . We asked multiple times of both the salesman and the office/sales manager. They explained tht the $$ we would buy into is what would cover the vacations. Plus THEY sould sell our exixting time shares which would give us an aditional 6 weeks--totaling 12 weeks a year. That was on a Friday. We left Las Vegas that SUnday and arribving home on tUESDAY, i REPEATEDLY TRIED TO CALL THEIR OFFICE NUMBER, LEFT NUMEROUS VOICE MESSAGFE &, SENT EMAILS----- WITH NO RETURN CALLS. i EVEN SENT PICTURES OF OUR SNOWSTORM, THINKING THEY WOULD REPLY. The phone numbers tht we were given ( "personal cell #"of salesman an office/sales manager) wer all the same number. I cancelled the paymen t to Dioscover, and also the banki check---to no avail. When we called the # of the connection for a vacation clug, we were informed that the vacation would cost between $800 and $1500 depeding upon the week and length of stay and where. When we explained that hat is not what we bought and the lady apoplogized and said that they were just a travel company that Prestisious Software uses. In the meantime, we had issues wiht my 90 year old mother adn my husband was diagnosed with cancder. During all the contacts after that first week, we explained that we wanted our money back and that what we bought was not in fact a vacation club. The office manager either did not answer or emailed paperwork or sent paperwork back as to whaqt we had "signed a d agreed to" tThen we received a call from an agenccy wanting $500 plus dollars that we had signed a contract to. Now mind you-"THEY (Prestisious Software) stated they would sell the timeshares. All in all, I spent many dollars and time contacting the BBB of Nevada, The City and county attorneys offices in Las Vegas/ Clark county, 2 major tv stations in LV, and the State auditors office of Nevada, and the state of Nevada Ins. commisioner-all being referred to by other depts and CEO's. The end result is that Nevad and Florida have minimal regul;ations regarding "timeshare" (which we were told this Prestegeious Software falls under in the legal aspect" We even contacte a local lawyer and he state after doing some reserach that this company is a scam and that the best would be to "chalk the money an experience up to a lesson on scams." So that is what we did. Now as of 4/8/2015 we have received a notice of payment via email due for $200 plus dollars--with no ability to reply via eail and the company is a collection/payment business and notr Prestigious Software itself. So I have emailed Presigious directly stating to cancel the account and not to ever contact us again. So we will see what happens. But as of now, we have lost $7500 of hard earned money and dealt with a bunch of nasty, heartless, arrogant, scamming individuals. And in all my seracing and finding may tie in---this has occured in other states and the primary owener is from Bend Oregon, has listed herself with Linkedin, and her co associates have foreign names. I asked one indvidual in contacting the various agencies if this monies collecxted could b e being use for arms and money laundering in certain countries and he laughed and said "absolutely possible' I still have all the findings and paperwrok and documentation available. We are very very angry with the state of Nevada and the state of FLorida for the "loose " laws allowing this scamming proces-and we fell totally violated.
