I met a woman named Lauren E Dern last year on the popular dating site match.com. In the first message on the site she wanted to communicate through her personal email on hotmail. Everything seemed normal for a couple of weeks as we exchanged messages an photos of one another. Then she mentioned she had been in Greece for a while and while there she was involved in a horrible car accident. She gradually recovered and wanted to fly back to Canada and meet me at the airport in Saskatoon so we could meet for the first time in person. Then the money requests started along with a bunch of excuses such as medical kits, basic travel allowances, duty fees, etc. I lost approximately $25,000 to her in about three months of communication with her. I then got a helpful tip from another man that was scammed by her and I then broke off all contact with Lauren after that. I later found out that the photos Lauren sent me were stolen pics of an internet model/pornstar named Melissa Midwest.
