A car was listed on Craigslist I wanted to buy. I contacted the seller by text. After 3 text messages the seller informed me that eBay would handle the final transaction. They sent all of their internet correspondence using official eBay web pages and the standard eBay guarantee to make everything appear legitimate. I was instructed to purchase 'GreenDot MoneyPak' cards for the amount of the purchase price which was $2300.00. GreenDot MoneyPak cards carry both the eBay and Paypal endorsement.
Anyways, the money is gone and there is no car.
