I received a call stating that I had won a "free cruise for two!"

I was soon transferred to an associate that represented BestCruiseGetaway.com (I found out their website information after requesting an e-mail).

The phone line had a lot of static and the associate was a very fast talker. She told me I was going to receive a free two night cruise for two on "Caribbean Cruise Lines," which could be used any time within 18 months.

It wasn't long before she started detailing the fees for which I would be responsible. The fees were $59 per person ($118 in total) and would require me to give her my credit card information. Red flag.

I explained that I could not make that decision without my fiancee's approval and asked if there was any way for me to call her back or receive a call back within a couple of hours. No could do--she told me it was a take it or lose it offer, yet just minutes before she had asked for my cell phone number in case we were disconnected. Another red flag.

After repeated attempts to keep me on the line, I refused to give her my information. I called my fiancee and not even 10 minutes prior, she had received the same exact phone call with the same exact offer from a different associate. Fortunately, she refused to give out any information as well.

Be very wary of this company.
