eSecuritel's sales pitch through Verizon Wireless was that for a little extra (over Asurion) you would get a replacement phone the same day. If they did not have a comparable, you would get the next step higher phone until it was replaced suitably. This is a lie. My iPhone 5 32G got wet, the best they were willing to do was a 5c, but I would have to wait until the next day, hardly same day service. They didn't even have the stock IN TOWN. This despite having a 5s 32G in stock sitting right on the desk in front of me. They would not let me "upgrade" to the 5s, even if it meant them not fulfilling their same-day replacement promise. If companies can not fulfill their promised sales pitch, the customer should get the best replacement the company has in stock to meet that promise. This company has higher deductibles. This company charged more monthly for the same day service than Asurion (theirs is 24-hours). I have Asurion for my wife and kids and their service has been fine. Not so with eSecuritel.
