Disappointed with the appearance of age, I ordered the "free trial" of this product for a few bucks. For another few bucks - to cover the shipping, you know - I ordered the associated product, "La Dermmanique" How bad could it be to get a couple of free samples?
BAD
When submitting the online order, the customer is signed up to receive monthly shipments, which can only be returned for refund for a limited amount of time. A customer service rep who fielded my call told me that I had neglected to "read the fine print" and my order of the "free trial" was the equivalent of signing a contract electronically.
I have not received any copies of the "contract," only shipping notifications. When I called and complained, they apparently complied with cancelling my contract, but I will only get a refund (purportedly) on the latest order if returned promptly.
This process is designed to take advantage of the consumer.
