My husband responded to an internet ad for a free watch, for $5.95 shipping. That cost was on our Visa statement at the end of February. At the end of March, a charge of $95 from QNC Time appeared on our statement. I called to dispute the charge, but the number was a call center; they said they could cancel the contract for a watch to be mailed every month for $49.99, but they couldn't refund the $95 for the watch that was mailed (it was received but never used.) I got an email address from a supervisor of the call center, and exchanged emails with Joyce Bower, who sent a link to the order page the company uses. It has an "offer details" paragraph saying the watch must be returned within days or $95 will be charged, and describes the contract for a trial watch every month for $49.99. My husband says that was not on the web page that he saw when he ordered the free watch for $5.95 shipping cost. I believe this company is a fraudulent business and should be shut down.
