I was called by this Company (Appstar) to let Alan King come to my store and give a me a proposal about how much they can save my business in credit card processing. Alan came the next day, he is a smooth fast talker and tells you anything to get you to change.Alan never mentioned a yearly fee of $95.00 and he agreed to buy me out of my contract. He lied and about both, he also had me buy a crappy key pad for debts from the internet and said they would they would send me a new one and I was to send the crappy one back to them so I would not get charged for it. That I did however the problem is, that he never told me my credit card machine is old and not cripted and by adding a keep pad to it could jeopardize my customers credit card info if a thief had one of those things that steals info from your machine . I have just learned this and if that were to happened to my business I can get charge up $10,000 not to mention my creditability would be ruined with my customers. Once I found out my account had been charged a $95.00 fee I was furious and called Alan immeditly , Alan would not take my call nor return my calls. I had to get his supervisor Anekia involved. I told her that he was supposed to buy out my old contract and she said they had no info about that and that was not how they work. I got no where with her nor Alan so she transferred me to the escalated department (she call it)and from there Mr. Bob Barton helped me. I urge anyone who has had this happen to them because of the lies you were told by Alan king to switch, contact Bob Barton and file a complaint. Bob's number is 1-866-754-5368 X2851. He was very helpful to me and we all need to stop Alan King from doing this to any other businesses.Alan King is a lair and a crook and works off 100% commission which explains why he lies to get you to change or shall I say leave out valuable info that cost you after the contract is signed.Please feel free to contact me at my store (334-478-3852)so I can help you if I can. I do not want to have anything to do with a Company that allows a rep such as Alan to represent them knowing he has taken advantage of so many busienses I am changing to a more reputable company that processes for Wal-Mart, Public's, Tocco Bell and Mc Donalds and they have agreed to get me out of the mess Alan got me into buy buying me out of Appstar and everything they tell you is verified by their home office and they put it in writing.I know they can help you and save you money.It is ashamed that we have so many dishonest people like Alan King in this world that take advantage of you to get a buck in their pocket ,but know this" as long as I have a voice I will let every Business know what he did and hope it doesn't happen to any once else" .
