Janet Craig Holland, CEO of Clean Sweep Estate Sales, San Antonio, TX. held an estate sale for us for my late parents estate. We paid her an upfront fee of $300 to hold the sale for us. The contract stated that she was to receive 40% of the sales profits. Once the sale was complete, it was impossible to get hold of her. She never answered her phone and ignored emails and texts and was not paying us. It wasn't until we threatened to contact the police that she agreed to meet my sister and present her with a check. The check bounced and she has not replaced our payment yet. We have since filed a complaint with the San Antonio Texas Hot Check Department and apparently she has done this so many times that Channel 4 News in San Antonio did a report on her on their Trouble Shooters segment. She is under investigation at the moment for fraud and theft. I'm just trying to get the word out so she can't take advantage of anyone else.
