Lowes district 1213 has began an aggressive goal to sell their Credit Cards to the consumer.Compliance requires them to believe in good faith that they can offer this credit to consumers who are able to afford it and will benefit from it. Lowes stores are offering additional percents off as well as giving away a choice of a variety of gifts in drawings. Consumers are being told that they only have to be 18 to qualify and that even if they cannot be approved for credit that they will still qualify for the drawing. Lowes is not telling the consumer that even though they will be turned down for credit, the three major credit bureaus will place inquiry marks on their credit reports and that directly affects credit scores.Management has set goals extremely high in the stores of district 1213 and employees have been told to reach these goals.....it has caused bait and switch practices as well as put people in fear of losing their job if these goals are not reached. there has already been many terminations in the stores in this district.
