I saw an advert on Facebook for an amazing combination of two face creams and was sucked in! Clicked the link and signed up (foolishly)for a 14 day free sample or so I thought. For some reason I was suspicious and googled the creams to find that it was a scam. This was over 14 days after I had placed the order. I phoned the number on by bank statement and cancelled the order...I asked how much money had been deducted and it was the full price for each cream nearly £200. They said this had happened on 27th Jan. I phoned my bank as I thought cancelling my card may work but the bank said that this won't help and neither would closing my bank account as the agreement is with Visa. However, the payment to Equinox was pending and had been for several days and so they may not take it. Phone your bank or if you have internet banking send a message that you wish to cancel this payment with immediate effect. On there terms and conditions it states that the full amount will be taken after 30 days. Good luck!
