On 25 Dec 2013 after seeing an advertisement for samples at a cost of US$2.95, I decided to request them. I began completing an online order then changed my mind. I did not think the transaction had been completed however received x2 emails congratulating me on my order and that $2.95 would be charged to my account showing as STARTER MEDIA LLC-USMS $2.95. I was ok with this as the amount was minimal. I checked my visa every day then on 3 Jan 2014 discovered 2 transactions from Worlds Best Garcinia C Hollywood FI - one for US$1.00 and one for US$159.00. I immediately emailed the company saying that I had not authorised this amount and requesting a refund. I received a reply from Business Web Help Desk <[email protected]> allocating a reference number to my request and giving a telephone number to ring. I tried the number but it appeared to be invalid. I again emailed and requested a reversal of the transaction and telling them that i had tried ringing but it appeared the number did not exist. I have received no further communication. I then found another number which I finally managed to get answered on 10 Jan 2014. I explained the situation, gave her the reference number from the email (which appeared to mean nothing), gave her my name and email address but refused to give my visa number. The woman was extremely difficult to understand, kept telling me she was checking the account then coming back and asking for details again before disconnecting the call with no answer for me. I then managed to get the same number answered again today, 17 Jan 2014. A man named MJ took details of zip code, email address and name, went away to check the account, asked for details again then disconnected the call with no answer for me. I rang again and the call was answered by a woman named Noelle who once again took details of postal code, name and email address. She was eventually came back to say that this was the first communication from me, and I was not entitled to a refund because I had not cancelled within 3 days and I had not returned the product within 4 days. She was not interested in the reference number I had been given, the emails I had received or the fact that I had not received the product anyway so couldnot have returned it. Her final statement was "Sorry we cannot give you a refund" and disconnected the call.
