someone claiming to be representing delaware and associates...somehow had gotten all my personal information,making false accuasations and threats to all people they called today,be it either,friends,family members,co workers,employer,previous landlords..etc.
i was almost terminated from my job due to way these people spoke to my employer at their main office, today-yelling,saying i had several felony warrants outstanding,and that they needed to reach me immediately! they tried to coerce my employer main office to give out my whereabouts or a number they could contact me at. they threatened both my mother,92 year old grandmother,my brother with sending out local police constanables to each address they had on file for me, family,friends,employer, fore me to sign for class action lawsuit against myself vs whoever delaware n associates...these ppl never would tell me who they were working for, how much money i supposedly owed...or anything..they kept yelling,making threats...so i just asked them not to call again and hung up phone...what should i do to stop thes people from constantly harrassing my employer,my family members,my friends, etc...i'm at a complete loss! when i had offered to make small payments, until "debt" was paid off-ppl refused;said they wanted payment in full and that it was several thousand $$$"(the few hundred initial plus $thousands in interest), but they never gave me an exact dollar amoount.
