I was hired by iTok to work as a sales consultant, contacting persons who supposedly requested help. After one week of training learning a script and 3 weeks of live calling with a coach/trainer. I was sent to the sales floor were I was told that the sales team leader's script was what I had to use. This script was very controlling of the call and filled with high pressure sales tactics. I soon realized that if I did not follow the sales floor script I would never reach the sales production high pressure goals. I was extremely disappointed and felt deceived by iTok. 4 weeks of training emphasizing great customer service and a company statment of "We improve lives", only to be smacked in the face with the reality of high pressure, lie to get the sale, boiler room sales tactics. I also came to understand that the leads I was calling on were persons who had been deceived by iToks misleading marketing system. If you were having trouble with your email and search for help on the internet, you will see a link (if yahoo is your ISP) "yahoo.itok.net/email-help" This deceiptively gives the impression that you are clicking on a link that is sponsored by Yahoo, and you will be sent to a division of Yahoo that handles email problems. All false. iTok, and only iTok, will recieve the help request, iTok has no agreement with Yahoo, you are being contacted by an independent private company whose only goal is to close the sale. The iTok sales person who calls probably will not identify themself as being separate from Yahoo, but will start giving commanding instructions on how to get connected for a remote login to do a free diagnostic scan. You, thinking you are being helped by a Yahoo representative, obediently comply and let a 20 something, fast talking, morally dead, ethically challenged, typically male con-man have access to your personal computer(but he sounds so nice and concerned for me). No surprise this Degenerate immediately finds all kinds of "infections" on your system and goes into the closing sales pitch costing you $150 to 250 and a membership for $19.99 a month "to keep your computer clean and safe". It is when money comes up that you realize that you are not talking to Yahoo, but unless you are strong enough to break the trance of the very skilled con-man you pay and regret later. Do Not Use iTok! Your computer can be cleaned by free software found on the internet, which is the same software the iTok techs use and then remove from your computer. Do your research, gain the knowledge and be free from the parasitical con-men at iTok.
