I contacted them to do a fix on a program that wasn't working but the talked me into a more major fix since then said I had all kinds of errors and problems on my computer and I fell for it. They worked 6 hours on my computer one the first day but since it was getting late we set up another appointment. On the first day the Tech did something to my computer because the internet stopped working. The second day 3 different people tried to get my internet to work so they could continue cleaning my computer. Along with the internet issue on booting up the computer I was getting several errors messages which I never had before they started working on the computer. Finally they told me that the drivers must have gotten deleted for the internet and it wasn't their fault and I should go back to my internet company. They return my feel for not helping me but now they left my computer in a worst situation then when I brought it to them. It's going to cost me and now they company washes they hands of the problem they caused.

  • This case is very simple and clear. The customer had an unstable Internet connection and this made it nearly impossible to fix his computer’s issue. This customer contacted us on December 23, 2013 with an issue: “AOL Desktop not launching in the computer” and paid $129.99 for us to fix the issue. But, we couldn’t complete all troubleshooting steps initially, as it was necessary to reboot the computer (something we need the customer to do) after the initial steps.

We called him to connect back to us remotely, but we only reached his voice mail. Later when the customer came back to us, we were not able to work on the customer’s computer due to an ongoing Internet connectivity issue at the customer’s end. We tried all possible steps to fix it, but we couldn’t due to the instability of his Internet connection. Therefore, we suggested that he to contact ISP to fix the Internet issue first, as it was hardware-related and get back to us, so that we can work further. However, the customer didn’t agree and asked for refund. Nevertheless, we refunded in full and he apparently agreed to it. There is nothing we could offer more in this instance as we cannot work on his computer without an Internet connection.

Below are the refund transaction details:

    Transaction Approved:
    Auth Code: C93355
    Ref #: 551493355

In spite of working for hours on the customer’s computer, we refunded the full amount and also suggested a resolution for the Internet issue, one which is clearly not caused by us. Our process is very transparent and we record every remote session and we can prove it. OmniTech Support is an organization where we always try to value the customer’s business and to have them satisfied with their purchases. That’s why we have earned and maintained an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
