I just received a phone call from 02070552990 and had an oddly friendly chat with a "consultant" from age 121. I didn't even know which company I was dealing with until I received an email registration form that I was asked to fill in. These people tried to convince me to make a payment of £142 and some pennies each for two courses- first aid training, and medical receptionist training. Obviously i became suspicious when they tried to make me make an upfront payment to book the course on the same day. I told them this wouldn't be possible, but the consultant I spoke to tried to convincingly make me make a deposit payment of £100 to secure my place on the training for both courses, of which I told them still wouldn't be possible. I was then transferred back to the original caller who then proceeded to ask me why it hadn't been possible for me to make a payment and I told her, I am a jobseeker, money doesn't fall off trees so surely you can't expect me to just dish out that kind of money just because of a request. She then said that she really wanted me to make a payment today so she could proceed to getting me a job as early as next week, so she said she could talk to the "training department" and ask them to accept a deposit payment of £50. I told her it wouldn't be possible, so we ended the call there. But my gut was shooting some serious red flags so I decided to research the company and BINGO! Had an inkling it was a scam cos I've always known any company asking you for an upfront payment to secure a job is usually bogus. These people need to be stopped.
