bought a 9ton electric log splitter with a 2yr warranty....have used it 5 hours and the electrical panel on the side of it started on fire, after unplugging the unit and opening the panel all was toasted....got one email from john sones after repeated calls and emails from there websight he said i need a new compacitor....its a no-reply email as he refers you to buy it from their parts list @38.00....no mention of warranty coverage...I believe the switch to be burnt too and wanted to forward a picture to him for confirmation....next stop is the attorney general, and maybe a personal thankyou the next time i visit family in CT
