Daughter filled in form on IBM website. Popup "survey" appeared - about "your experience with the IBM website". Daughter completed the short survey - which ended when she checked "first visit to IBM site". She was then offered a "reward voucher" for completing the IBM survey. There was a choice of "rewards" one of which was a "free sample" of Juveneu skin cream - "just pay £1.99 p&p". She made the mistake of doing so. No T&Cs then or in the follow up email or on the Juveneu site. I became a bit suspicious and researched Juveneu. It's a "CPA" - continuous payment authority scam (NB In the UK you now have the right to insist that your bank blocks CPAs if you request this). Immediately rang bank and blocked any further payments to this company and rang Juveneu first thing in the morning cancelling the "free trial". Woman I spoke to confirmed they were intending to send more cream at £80 a time. She said my daughter had agreed to this (secret) T&C when she paid the£1.99 - she was utterly shameless. Reported them to Trading Standards and the Police. I have also asked for a refund of the £1.99 but I'm not holding my breath. Will return any parcels unopened with "return to sender".
