last August 17, 2013, I called to cheapoair to inquire if i will rebook my flight originally from August 25, 2013 to September 28, 2013, how much will I pay for penalties. This agent, named Preston, who do not know the correct english, despite stressing the point that I am only inquiring, cancelled my original booking and asked me for 600.00dollars as penalties. After heated arguments, I was escalated to his supervisor, named Ramiro who promised me that he will booked my original flight and will call me after an hour. I have waited for the return call but none has been made. I called the next day and the agent told me that my booking is still under process. The next day I received an email from them offering the new flight on September 28, 2013 without any charges and I click to accept it. Last September 4 I received another email that my flight from Phoenix to To Los Angeles was cancelled because I did not pay the 600.00dollars penalty, as told by one supervisor Nicolas. I send them various emails, being kept on hold for hours, always transferred to another department or hung-up, they keep on telling me they will call back but to no avail. Last August 10, I called them again because they threaten to cancel my flight if I will not pay 600.00. I called an agent named Ken and was informed that my penalty was reduced to 350.00 dollars and I can have the option to depart from Phoenix to Manila.He told me to speak to Ramiro and have my credit card ready. I am trying all day to speak to Ramiro, even gave my callback number but he is not contacting me and |cannot contact him.September 11 I spoke to an agent Maximus and he said I call after 9 hours because Ramiro is not there and he is the only one who can solve this issue.

I want my original flight back, from Phoenix to Manila without any charges. I need a confirmed flight instead of everyday I am receiving a notice of change of flight.Please help me as it is useless to contact this company.

  • i sent you an email and if you will give my original booking dated september 28 phx to mnl without charges I will drop my complaint

  • Relyn, as a courtesy our company absorbed the cost for your last change and waived all the airline fees, and add collect. Now you are wanting to change back to the original flights free of cost. Unfortunately we already paid for one change, therefore you are responsible for the most current request, we have made no error to justify paying once again for another change you would like to complete. CheapOair.com resolved your first request and as a goodwill gesture paid.
    Very sorry that you changed your mind once again, but the rules of the ticket have to be followed, and change penalties on all airlines are applicable, as well as the cost of the new flights you want.

  • I called China Southern Airlines to re-booked the flight myself, the airline is only charging 200.00 dollars re-booking fee plus the difference of the price ticket. However, even the Agent cannot access the price of my ticket as he advised me it is black(or syndicated) price and he cannot do anything and advised me that only Cheapoair can do the rebooking.
    I am really surprised how powerful the influence of Cheapoair with airline companies that despite of numerous complaints still you have managed to hold on to your clients and not transact directly with the airlines.
    Despite that you are giving me confusing bookings,(even checking my confirmation number with Delta Airlines I am still booked on Sept.28),in your website I am receiving different confirmation, online its different and talking with your company its different.Even the last booking(Sept.13) you did not even provided my ticket number in the website,how can clients trust you?
    I do hope SCAMBOOK will help travelers like us being victimized by your agency and whoever reads this blog will reach the proper authorities so that you can stop fooling us by lurking us with cheap fares then later on be faced with scams like this.
    I already bought my ticket with another airline and i am claiming damages for all the troubles you have caused me.
