i recieved a phone call in early september from American Publisher's Service, saying i won a $1000 dollar shopping spree, and a years subscription of 3 different magazines for $49.90. after they asked me the questions, they said i would receive a phone call in 15 minutes for confirmation. i never received a call. well about a mth later they charge me for it, and i recieved a letter a week later about it. the letter states that its $49.90/mth for 20 months. totalling. $998. i did not sign up for that. and was confused on how they got my number in the first place. i just want to cancel the whole thing bt they said that if u cancel after 7 days of the letter id be charged 80% of $998. considering i didnt recieved the letter til october 15th, and they sent the letter october 7th. i do not have that kind of money to spend on something i did not want in the first place. i never signed the letter they wanted me to, nor do i have or want the shopping spree. if there is any way someone could help me resolve this issue i would be greatly appreciative.
