I was having problems with my new HP Laptop with a virus on my computer. I called HP Help and MYTECHHELP picked up. By the time I realized that they were not HP I had already given them my credit card info (stupid me). I must have called at least 4 times taking hours upon end of them trying to "fix" it. In the end all they did was have me reboot it which I could have done in 5 minutes if I hadn't gotten sucked in. In this time they signed me up for 2 programs, a service charge, and a "free" keyboard. All of which they never said would charge me. Only after I saw the bill was I informed of the rebates. It has now been 6 months from the incident and have been told it will take an additional 2 months for the processing of the rebates. The 99.99 service charge that I was never informed about remains. On a follow up call for the rebate they insisted that I try the coupons they could send me automatically in place of my rebates. I responded that I just wanted my money back, and although I pried was never given an answer to why it takes so long.
