I was looking to buy a men's Fossil watch as a graduation present. I entered a generic search for deals on Fossil watches. Shopelectronik.com had the best deal so I proceeded with my order. I was so excited about the great deal that I ignored the flag that went up when they said my order would have be processed thru Amazon as a playstation network card to avoid taxes and such. I was instructed to forward my email confirmation with activation code from Amazon to shopelectronik to prove my order was complete so they could ship out my watch. Again that was odd, but the purchase was thru Amazon so it had to be legit right?! Nope!! After the estimated delivery date of my order came and went I tried to contact shopelectronik via email only to have my emails returned as undeliverable. That's when I knew I had been scammed!! First, I contacted Amazon since they were the "middle man" in this scam, they were very kind and understanding and told me they were aware of this unfortunate scam and working on it but couldn't offer a refund. I contacted my credit card company to file a dispute, as soon as they entered shopelectronik's name into their database it came back with dispute cases already opened. They have credited my account while they investigate this scam. I thought I was a savvy cyber shopper but this experience taught me a hard lesson - if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Shame on shopeletronik.com for taking advantage of people like me. I hope karma comes back at them in a big way!
