I answered an ad for a trial for the anti wrinkle product, supposedly at a cost of NZD 1.99.
Several weeks later I received the product and now my credit card has been charged with a USD84.71 amount. At no time was I informed that this charge was going to be made. This is blatant theft, a total scam, I am discussed with the company and will take further action.

I read the Terms and Conditions before signing up for my FREE two week trial for which I signed up on August 21 2011. By Aug 29 a few business days before the two weeks expired, I still hadn't received any product to trial. I eventually spoke to a customer care person whom I told I didn't want anything more to do with the company since they seemed not to honour their promises. I then telephoned my bank - Citibank- who told me that they'd write to the merchant to say that I didn't authorise any future payments. I've since discovered two more payments have been debited. I'm disputing that with Citibank.
My other major questions are this: why do companies like Facebook advertise these scams and why are banks complicit in perpetuating the scam? -
