I purchased an 2008 Evinrude E-tec 250 from Tripatra Engineering Group. of which they provided pictures of the motor from different angles plus that of the seral number nameplate. The price was negotiated and they applied shipping cost to the price of the motor, from point of origin to my door. They would only deal with Western Union money transfer or Bank to Bank wire transfers. Bank transfer was completed on June 7, 2013 and days afterward plus numerous emails later asking for tracking information they finely complied on June 11, 2013. I began tracking that day. Delivery dates indicated via www.zonalines.com/tracking: (Pickup Date June 19, 2013)and (Expected Delay date; June 20, 2013. Friday June 14, 2013, the package entered into Cairo, Egypt, with arrival scan at 8:45am. That is where it sits to this day. Shipping company hired by Tripatra Engineering is Zonalines Express Cargo. Also located in Jakarta, Indonesia. After numerous attempts to contact Zonalines, and Tripatra to find out why my shipment had stalled in Cairo, Zonalines finally email me back indicating that Tripatra Engineering had failed to pay adequate shipping, insurance and export taxes in the amount of $1199.00 USD, and that I should contact the seller to have them pay these additional charges. I asked Zonaline why the shipment had even been pickup by them if Tripatra had not payed the proper shipping charges. They did not answer that question. They only replied indicating that I should contact seller to have them pay the specified amount, and that the longer it sat in Cairo, the more it would cost. Tripatra Engineering has failed to responde to any of the emails that they've been sent or CC to via my email correspondence back and forth with Zonalines. I feel that Zonalines is working together with Tripatra and they are trying to squeeze additional moneys out of me to progress a shipment that may or may not exist. I have also filed a complaint against Tripatra Engineering Group as co-conspirators in this scam. I want either the motor delivered or my money returned.
