I paid to have Jail call services on June 1,2013, assuming my loved one could call me. When the call came through, a recording came on stating we had 60 seconds and I needed to make a credit card payment to Global Tel Link. I called the jail again to find out why I had to pay twice to talk to my loved one. I was told they didn't use Jell Call Services. I then called Global Tel Link and had to pay them in order for me to receive jail calls. The man I spoke with said he had never heard of Jail Call Services. This is a scam and all I want is a refund, because it doesn't work. I have called three times to 972-338-5271 and all I get is a recording, I leave my name, phone number and tell them I want a refund. Have they been reported to the Better Business Bureau, or to the Dallas Texas Attorney General's Office? I am disabled and live on social security. Hoping to save money has cost me.
