I MET ROBERT ON POF IN fEB. WHEN HE TOLD ME HE HAD TO GO TO ACCRA, GHANA IN AFRICA TO TAKE CARE OF FATHERS INHERITANCE.AFTER A FEW WEEKS HE ASED FOR A PHONE AS HE SHATTERED HIS AND PROMISED HE WOULD PAY BACK WHEN HE GOT HOME IN COUPLE OF WEEKS... ASKED TO HAVE MONEY SEND WESTERN UNION AS HE WAS NOT ABLE TO USE ATM CARD AND HAD TO PAY TO HAVE HIS FATHERS GOLD PIECES SENT BACK TO USA. HAVE ADRESS THE PHONE WAS SENT TO.ASKED FOR MONEY FOR BTA FEES AND ALSO SEND ME A FLIGHT SCHEDULE TO BE PICKED UP AT AIR PORT.. THE DAYBEFORE I WAS SUPPOSE TO PICK HIM UP RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A MAN CALLING HIMSELF DR. PAUL SAYING THAT ROBERT WAS IN A BAD CAR ACCIDENT ON WAY TO THE AIRPORT AND NEEDED MONEY FOR MEDICAL EXPENSES.. TOLD HIM WAS NOT ABLE TO DO SO... AFTER 4DAYS rOBERT CALLED ME AND SAID HE WAS DOING BETTER AND HE WILL BE HOME AS SOON AS HE IS RELEASED THAN HE WANTED MORE MONEY AND I SAID NO... THAN ASKED FOR ANOTHER PHONE SAID HE LOST HIS.. TOLD HIM NO, THEN HE ASKED FOR MORE MONEY TO HELP PAY FOR AIRLINE TICKET TO COME HOME SAID HE HAD TO GET OUTA THERE.. TOLD HIM I WAS NOT ABLE TOO AS I ALREADY HAD GIVEN LG, SUM AND HE DID NOT REPAY ME.. THAN HE TOTALLY STOPPED COMMUNICATING WITH ME.

- My mother was scammed also by someone claiming to be "Robert Potter" in Acra, Ghana. He used the old scam of having gold in Africa that has to be tested for purity. They even went as far as having someone meet her to profess his undying love. Somebody has to stop this group.
