I started looking into the slice-o-matic product on their website. I wanted to know how much it would actually cost me if I decided to order a slice-o-matic (incl. tax and S&H), but the only way to get a total cost is to enter your information, including your credit card info, and continue to a second screen. Well, I entered my info to know what the real total would be so I can decide whether I wanted to order or not and before completing the order, I decided not to order so I closed my browser. I just checked my credit card account to find a $36.78 charge which was charged to my credit card on Sept. 30th. I contacted my credit card provider and slice-o-matic and I will have to pay to return the product if I want the charge cancelled from my credit card. To me, it is awfully wrong for these people to force an order on customers before they confirm/approve the order. They can do that because they have all your info from the beginning even if you are just trying to get an exact total of what it would cost to actually place the order.
