I responded to a job opening on Hired Board for a mail room clerk in Downtown Manhattan on May 2nd. Someone who goes by the name Susan Morgan contacted me and sent a link with forms that i should fill out. There was also a link to get my credit report for $1.00 but my credit card was charged $21. I was asked to enter the reference number on the form to complete the process, which I did. Susan Morgan said they would get back to me after one week and never did. I've tried contacting them via their email address but nothing comes up. It appears they don't exist! It was a SCAM. I've contacted the credit bureau and put a freeze on my credit report but I'm not certain yet if they've done anything with my information. My personal information is in the hands of those thrives!!!!! They're still posting jobs on Hired Board mostly for Mailroom Clerks. They have to be stopped! They shouldn't be allowed to prey on innocent job seekers.
