Magic Jack has a 30day free trial so they say. I requested the product, a charge of $62.00+ would be build to my credi card. There was not a live person to asked questions to, your order was taken over the phone. The computer says you can port your same phone number, but it never said there would be a charge before the trial period ends. You are not charged for the device until after the trial period, therefore I assumed you would not be charged for the number until the same time. Well that's not true, not only did they charge me $30.00, they disconnected my present service, which they don't tell you. They told me I would have to contact my present carrier. But they disconnecte my service. Now they are trying to charge me again to moved my phone number again, and I am still in the trial period. None of these fees were ever mentioned. chatted with a representative 4/29/13 and she never mentioned any additional fees. Today I get an email wanting to charge my credit card another fee to move my number. They disconnected my present phone service and I have elderly family members living with me! No consideration that we have been without a phone since 4/25/13, when I returned the device back to Magic Jack!
