I was specific about the doctor and hospital that I regularly see and was assured that they were both covered under "the plan"..at my first appointment, I was informed that the doctor and hospital NEVER accepted medicare advantage through AARP..I was directly lied to and was told that there was a mistake in the information they had in their computer..another lie..so I was out of luck and out of pocket for the cost..luckily I was within the "switch back period" by 2 days so I went back to medicare and got reliable drug coverage with a good company..my complaint to AARP got a "gee that's too bad" response...after being an AARP member for over 5 years..I WILL NOT RENEW MY AARP MEMBERSHIP..
