I received a call regarding renewal of Soap Opera Digest. I asked him his name -James Isaac Smith stated he was with Publishers Service Office of New York.He gave me the customer service number of 877-351-0728 He offered a renewal for Soap Opera Digest one year, get next year free -104 issues for the price-- which the amount he did not give me. He read back my bank account routing no., name of bank and address. I gave him my check number but told him not to fill the order if he could not tell me the expiration date of the magazine (suspicioning fraud). He hung up. I thought that was over and done with til I got my bank statement showing the electronic entry of 142.76 to "The Indentured Servants" in memo showed Soap Opera Digest. I called the number, they identify as Publishers Service Office hold for next available agent YOU WAIT AND THEN THE VOICE SAYS GOOD BYE. NO AGENT EVER COMES TO THE PHONE....

  • To Whom It May Concern,

We are sincerely apologetic about this misunderstanding. We are willing to investigate this mutual concern further and take necessary actions (refund) if need be. We will need your help to do so (name, phone number etc)

We have over 40 thousand pleased and satisfied customers and have been in business just over a year. We pride our selves on are customer service and strive to make every customers experience a good one. We do not know when your subscription runs out and our reps are told not to make up a date or mislead a customer. That's why Jimmy Smith Jr didn't tell you a date. We have been having upgrading our internet and servers. There are obviously some kinks still not ironed out. I doubt the representative hung up on you,it just might of been a dropped call. We use a voip service (voice over internet protocol) to make and record our phone calls.

Further more we want to resolve and open a dialogue with you. Please email or contact the general manager Dylan Gold, [email protected] or 877-351-0728.

We are not in business to take advantage of people. Are consumers are typically between 40 and 60+ it's the demographic of people that still read physical print and haven't gone digital yet. We are PCI compliant and some of our existing customers we have the last four digits of their payment information.

Please contact us so we can resolve this mutual concern.
