Complaint 221988 Details

On 3/19/2013, I was contacted by an online loan company called "Instaloan.com". The guy reviewed the infomation I had given on the website when I made the initial application. Then he said I had to call back and speak with a loan officer. I did and first spoke with a guy calling himself :"Jordan Cruise" He told me, after further review I had to "show" him $200-by buying a reload card and putting the money on it. Once I did that, I had to give him the serial number on the back, then e-mail him a copy of the card (front and back), the reciept, and my driver's license. I did that. The next day he called and said I had to pay $221 for underwriter's fees. I told him I wouldn't and hung up. I was called again, this time from a guy calling himself "Michael Jordan". Said he was another loan officer. We talked about the fee and he agreed I could pay $150 and the remaining $71 would go on the first month's payment. So I did the same thing with another reload card and e-mailed it to him (same e-mail address as the frist guy). Then I called him to get the money and he said I had to buy a pre-paid debit card and put $180 on it. Then call him and give him the account number and CVC #. After that, he said the company would put the loan money on the pre-paid card. I told him I did not have $180, that I would get a card and put $10 on it. He said that was not enough. So I told him to cancel the loan and refund my $350. He said it would take 3 months for the refund to come to me.
