  • Hello there. I work for Cascade and this sounds like it's for a subscription to Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration "The News", a 3 year subscription, 156 issues (print and digital) @ $1.27 per issue, totalling $199.00 for three full years. This also includes the free Directory and Source Guide each year, a $105.00 value at no cost to the customer. This particular publication has vital information for those in the HVAC Industry. (if I've gotten the publication wrong, forgive me, but I'm assuming it's this one because that's the price of the subscription).

It keeps them updated on all current news and events, both regulatory and economic, as well as containing information that is designed to improve a company's bottom line, get them more customers inexpensively and save money as well. In addition, these subscriptions for businesses are tax deductible. People who own or operate HVAC businesses subscribe to this magazine. It's been around since 1926 and is the #1 publication in the industry.

Regarding the scam implication, when I'm talking with a customer I always make sure that they thoroughly understand what they are buying and what their terms are. I value the integrity of my sales above all. I never rush through anything just to get them off the phone, though I'm as concise as possible because I call them during their work day. I ALWAYS ask if they have any additional questions at least TWICE and always reiterate what they've agreed to at least two different times. Additionally, I cannot even put forward the sale if I'm not talking to an authorized representative of the company.

We will always work with our customers to provide the best possible customer service. Please call company or visit the website at www.cascadesubscriptions.com to get further assistance.
