I called the week of February 4th and spoke to a customer service rep. I told her that I had moved and did not wish to take my system with me. There were new owners of the residence and they did not wish to carry out a contract with your company. I asked that it be noted in the system that I wished to close my account. Instead they terminated my auto withdrawal payment which I had indicated I wished to be left in place until I received a final payment bill.

I called again on 2/26/13 to get my auto pay reinstated until a final bill statement was received. He noted that in the system and had me talk with yet another customer service rep about closing my account. She again stated she had noted it in the system and that a final bill would be in the mail, however in the mean time I needed to fax this letter. I sent it initially on 2/28/13. I called on Monday March 4th and it was not received.

On 3/4/13 and again on 3/5/13 (2x within 20 min of each other) I received calls that stated the monitoring system was getting a signal from my medical alert pendant. I have not now nor have I EVER had a medical alert anything attached to this system. I cannot begin to count the amount of times I have received calls from your company that there is a medical alert pendant signal and I have NO MEDICAL ALERT!! Now the system is UNPLUGGED and turned off at my former residence (the internal battery died a long time ago) and I am STILL getting called that the medical alert is going off!! I have been asked why I don’t wish to take this system with me now that I have moved. Simple answer is that the system SUCKS! It malfunctions all the time, I have people calling me about alerts going off for things not even ATTACHED to my system, and my home was broken into and vandalized and the alarm NEVER even went off. I reiterate I cannot even begin to count the number of times the medical alert pendant call has been made in the last 2 years. Over all I am very disappointed with this system, the service, and the seeming inability of any member of Security Networks to fix the issues or satisfy my needs as a customer.

I do not wish to pay for my services or pay off the contract but i was informed that i would be taken to collections for failure to pay the final amount due on my contract which expires in 18 months. I thus anxiously await the final bill. Not because I wish to have to pay for less than stellar services, dysfunctional equipment, and incompetent staff, but because I cannot wait to be done with this company.
