International boundaries

Hi I wanted an ebook (marketing an introduction) when I tried to download in an ebook site (getbooke.org) they sent me to another site (urmediazone.com) saying that I have to create A FREE ACCOUNT to continue. The supposedly free account is in tailplay.com then it says there is a 5 day free trial (no free account appears) and that my card will not be billed. After I finally enter to the site there is no marketing ebook only games. So I cancelled the membership the same day (couples of minutes after) and to cancel I have to pay $1 for a "fast cancellation" or I have to call an international number to cancel and it will need 8 days to cancel (more than the free trial).
I only lost $1 right now. But I will check closely my card statement to see if they try to bill me more...
