Our office received a call from a fellow February 25, 2013, who stated he was from the Online Local YellowPages collections dept. Thinking he must have a wrong number, I told him I had no account with them. He then played a recording of the voice of our receptionist. He stated she had verbally authorized a contract be initiated. The services are said to be for a mini website. We received, via fax, a collections notice and an invoice. We have yet to receive a contractual agreement, questionnaire as to information to be presented on a website, or any other typical information one would expect to receive when entering into a contract with another company. Therefore, I must conclude this to be nothing more than a total and complete scam.
