I signed up for the trial for 4.95 only to have my account billed for 116.93. It appears I am not the first person to have this happen. I NEVER received the cartridges that the company billed me the 116.93 for. All I to show for my hard earned money is a charge to my account. This company is a rip off. I want my money back NOW!!!!

  • Seems nobody here understands the concept of a free trial. This is not false advertising. It is plain as day that when you order the starter kit, that it is a free trial for a refill subscription. If you do not cancel it, they send you refills every 30 days and charge you for them. But yes, I do have legit complaint. The 14 day free trial I ordered, began on the day the kit was shipped. By the time I got it this gave me no time to try it before the trial ended.

  • When you order a starter kit, it is a TRIAL. YOU MUST call and cancel your subscription BEFORE the trial ends or they automatically send you refills and charge you. What part of "TRIAL" do people not understand? The company makes this very clear. It works the same with any trial period for any company for any type of subscription. You have a certain amount of time to cancel or you will be billed monthly. Anyway, don't order these. The dang batteries don't even last long enough to finish a refill cartridge and some of them won't even take or hold a charge. The product is lousy.

  • Oh, and almost forgot. When they did send the refills, they sent the wrong flavor. Here's what you need to do. Call your credit card company. I did, and they put a 15 month block so that this particular company cannot charge my card again. That gives me 15 months to straighten it out with optima. If I cancel with optima, and they charge me again after the 15 month block is lifted, I'm filing a complaint with chamber of commerce.
