So, today I called and paid $249 to get a yr of tech help and it comes with a virus package. Unfortunately, the person who sold me the package put in a windows package virus and not the mac package. When I got the tech he could not download my virus protection because it was the wrong one and so charged me $59.99 for the right one and made a note that in my account that that amount was to be refunded to me per his supervisor because of the error. I called Billing and spoke to "Barry". Apparently, and according to his co-workers, "Barry is quite a character". Well, that's an understatement. As soon as I opened my mouth "Barry" had an attitude problem and would not hear what I was calling about. Needless to say I started to loose my cool because Barry would not listen and kept interrupting me. It seems that Barry was on his period and didn't take a Midol that day. I was asking for his supervisor and he immediately said, "she was in a meeting" and I asked him for his badge # and he would not give it to me avoiding the question. Not only did he give me attitude but RAISED his voice at me and I think that's what made me lose it (on top of my asking a question and him continuing to repeat, "you're not getting a refund" like 1 million times. Anyway, good thing he hung up on me because I was about to really tell him what I thought. I called back and got Samantha who was EXTREMELY helpful and guess what??? SHE RESOLVED MY PROBLEM BECAUSE SHE LISTENED!! What a concept? Listening. Barry needs to learn how to listen and stop being so rude. I was right about my needing a refund and Barry was wrong for assuming he was right instead of LISTENING to what I had to say before ASSUMING he knew everything. I hope Barry reads this and learns a lesson. Guess what, Barry? "Kindness is a language that the dead can hear and the blind can see". You need to learn how to listen and be kind and not so nasty to everyone just because you woke up and had a bad day. We all have bad days. You're not the only one Barry. Oh yea and before I forget, you're not that great at your job and that's probably why you are pissed at the world, so do yourself a favor and find another job.
