I used my card to place a domestic calls withing USA. The phone said that the call charges are $.50 per minute.
I was on call for a max of 2 minutes and was charged some $30 for the transaction.

I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our service. WiMacTel cares very much about our customers being satisfied and we operate a 24 hour a day customer care centre to take care of any issues. We can be reached at 1-888-476-0881 or [email protected]. We acknowledge that credit card calls are priced higher than coin calls and it is due to all the additional costs that don't apply to coins, such as commissions that have to be paid to the payphone owner, validation costs, billing & collection costs, live operators if used, etc. We would like to post the rates for these calls but there just isn't room on the phone as the rates are complicated and depend on where your calling, if your using a credit card/ calling card or calling collect/3rd party/person to person and if an operator is used. We also know at times there is confusion with the coin rate that is posted on the phone where callers believe that's the credit card rate. In all those instances where customers are surprised by the price we always try to assist. So please call our customer care centre or drop me a line at [email protected].
