paid 3495.00 upfront in Aug 7 2012 to modify my mortgage, was told i qualified. signed a contract on aug 22 2012 after i had already paid. long story short and a big run around later. i got a letter from my lender telling me i was denied my modification because i had bought my house after jan 2009. I bought my house in April 2009. so you guessed it....i was never qualified for a modification. I was told i can only get 500.00 back because they dont do refunds. even if i was qualified or not. so i was scammed! help and stay away at all cost! SCAM SCAM SCAM
