When I first looked online there was no information on this company...I took a chance and got took. Since then I notice there is a lot of people that have also gotten scammed. Since we are scattered all over the place it may be hard to get help however I'm thinking if we work together we can compile a folder and stories to present to the FBI and NY Attorney General and possibly file a class action lawsuit.   • I am meeting with my attorney on Friday and giving all of this information that I have been collecting from this website. I agree that we all need to work together to retrieve our money and get this company out of business. In reading these posts, I think that the person who said that they used to work for CIG would be a definite clincher in helping all of us out. I would like to know the name and location of the two restaurants that Keith Anthony owns. I called there one day last week and have been speaking with a man named "Gus". He was supposed to call me back that evening and, of course, never did. When I called him back the next morning, he said that he didn't call me back because they had an incident there that involved the police. If this company is operating without a license, using "secret" bank accounts and hiring illegal aliens, then I believe that we have a very strong case against them. I will not give up until I get my $5000 returned to me. I am also going to ask for additional monies to cover the interest my money would have earned me if it was still sitting in my 401K as well as compensation for my stress and having to take out an additional loan for moving. I'm willing to stand up with anyone who wants to go against this company and get out money back!

  • OK. I met with my attorney and the only hope we have of getting our money back is if we do all band together and submit to the Atty General of New York as well as our home state what CIG has done to us. I am compiling a list of all of the complaints and sending in to my atty this morning. He will then compose a letter and send it the the Atty General. THIS IS OUR ONLY CHANCE and we have to do this together. From what my attorney has told me, if they get enough complaints, they will issue a warrant for the "executives of the company's" arrest and charges will be filed and they will have to return our money. I told my attorney about the info I received via an ex-employee regarding Keith Anthony's 2 restaurants in Queens and his moving around the money we send in to various bank accounts. I have also informed him of the illegal aliens he has working for him. I will not stop on this! NO ONE is going to take money that I earned. I am also going to contact local law enforcement. These people are a bunch of thieves and must be stopped! We can do this, but we have to do it together as a collective group of victims. I urge everyone to PLEASE contact your home state's Atty General as well as the state of New York. I have already begun my process this morning. I live in Missouri and I see that this is happening all over the country. If they get enough info in New York on how people all over the country are being took, something will be done about this and these scum who are sitting back laughing at us and stealing will be put out of business and in jail.

  • if you would like to contact me please do -i was scammed out of 5000. I live in florida should i report to new york as well? I have been given the run around and not sure what type of lawyer to contact. I will be more than happy to participate in anything that will get my mone back

  • Everyone MUST contact the Attorney General of NY and give him any info that you have....it's our only chance! I don't know how to contact anyone personally, but we must keep in contact thru this website. I have three letters from the BBB where they contacted CIG and they told them that I would have my money back by the time the BBB received their letter and I still don't have it! I have turned all of this over to my attorney to submit as evidence to the attorney generals of both NY and my home state of Missouri. We have to build a case against these people who think we are all so stupid and collectively, as a group, we will bring them down! The atty gen of NY has the power to go in and arrest the "executives" of CIG and demand our money be returned to us.....let's see how old Keith Anthony and Anthony Podios laugh when they are sitting behind bars! This will happen if we all stay strong, patient and persistant. Turn over anything you get to the Atty Generals.

  • I spoke to NY state attorney office and they told me to send in my report (I had called a few different places before I got the right location), I had to download the form from their website, complete it and mail it in yesterday since I am in Florida but they said if you are local you can bring it in. The New York State Attorney office yesterday told me that I still must notify my State Attorney office here in Florida where I live. I just left a message for the State Attorney office here and once they call me back and direct me on how to proceed making the report I will do so.   • I would love to be able to talk with everyone and compile a case against these people to sent to the Attorney General, but this website knocks out our personal info. Does anyone know how we can contact eachother?

  • I have lost $5,000 in our "down payment" money as well. I have 3 children and all I have ever wanted to do was give them a home. we live in Iowa. I will post my full complaint her tonight. Thank you to ANYONE who can help.

  • CIG Realty is working diligently to correct some issues that arose from the implementation of our initial business model and miscommunication between former employees and our customers.

    Our objective is to satisfy any and all concerns of our customers and continue to move forward with our business.

    Unfortunately CIG Realty was the victim of a malicious internet campaign that spread misinformation about the company’s business dealings and intentions. This campaign was implemented by disgruntled former employees. It is the policy of CIG not to discuss specific personnel issues.

    CIG is in the process of contacting all its customers to address any concerns and answer any and all questions they may have. In addition CIG has hired a full time employee to handle inquiries.

    CIG is dedicated to addressing our client’s concerns including refunding monies and scheduling new closing dates.

    CIG is cooperating with the State Attorney’s office to assure customers complaints are being handled in a timely fashion.
